Salt Lake City-based Tru-Cut Merges with Larkin Industries

Salt Lake City, UT (March 1, 2021) – Tru-Cut, LLC today announced it has merged with Larkin Industries, the St Paul/Minneapolis premier print finishing and die cutting leader. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Founded in Salt Lake City in 1979, Tru-Cut designs and manufactures rotary and flat steel rule dies, provides die and laser cutting and
finishing services, and a variety of other highly customized products for its customers. Its acquisition of Larkin industries will expand the combined company’s range of products and services, deepen the expertise they bring to their customers’ complex projects, and enhance their service commitment to all of their customers.

Larkin Industries is an award-winning Twin Cities print finishing company. It offers a variety of print finishing services such as die cutting, foil stamping, embossing, affixing and tipping, folding and gluing and much more. As an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, Larkin has been recognized by the International Organization for Standardization for its quality control and management processes. Larkin’s ability to continually achieve ISO certification has demonstrated that Larkin consistently produces products and provides complex services that meet and exceed their customers’ highest requirements.
