Triangle Dies and Supplies
DFC MFG Group

Triangle Dies and Supplies, Inc. has been acquired by the DFC Manufacturing Group, LLC

St. Louis, MO (January 9, 2023) Triangle Dies and Supplies, Inc. (“Triangle”) today announced that it has been acquired by the DFC Manufacturing Group, LLC. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

DFC Manufacturing Group is a leading die maker and post press finishing company with locations across the United States.

Triangle was established in 1955 by Joseph P. Marovich, and was subsequently led by his son Joseph L. Marovich, and most recently by his grandson Joseph C. Marovich (who will continue to lead Triangle as a division of the DFC Manufacturing Group). Triangle has been a leader in the steel rule die making industry for over 65 years thanks to the generations of leadership and commitment to excellence by the Marovich family. Joseph has brought a passion for technology to Triangle over the past 20+ years, and made significant upgrades at both of Triangle’s locations. These include the addition of Lasercomb lasers and digital processing systems, Boxplan pin setters, and Serviform auto benders. A new training center was added in Illinois to educate both customers and employees on creating quality dies. Triangle operations will continue at their Batavia, IL and Brooklyn Park, MN facilities.

“We are delighted to offer our customers a broader range of products and locations,” said DFC Manufacturing Group’s National General Manager, Brian Kearins. “For over 65 years, Triangle has been producing the highest quality steel rule dies, with a focus on serving the corrugated packaging industry. We look forward to investing in and continuing their tradition of exceptional customer service and high-quality tooling.”

“I am proud to partner with the DFC Manufacturing Group,” said Joseph C. Marovich, President of Triangle. “I wanted to find the right partner to continue the tradition of my family’s company for decades to come; as I got to know the team at DFC, I found that they shared our values and philosophy on what it takes to be a leader in the die making industry. I am confident our customers will benefit from the deeper resources and large national footprint of DFC’s locations. And I am also certain that our employees will be able to continue their careers at a die maker where they are proud to work. Our mutual commitment to manufacturing superior quality dies with quicker turnaround times will ensure the success of Triangle and DFC for many years to come.”
